Hello everyone, we're really looking forward to seeing you all on .... weekend. Here are a few details for you. Time: 10am start on both days.. Feel free to arrive earlier if you want to put your tent up first, but we'll make sure there's space in the day to do it. Facilities are basic - a water tap and a compost toilet. The caravan has got mains electric. Food: If you are able, please bring a small food contribution towards Saturday lunch. We will be making a vegan soup as part of it. Sunday breakfast and Sunday lunch will be provided by us and will be vegan with possible additional bits (cheese, pizza etc) Saturday lunch will be a relaxed affair with the work continuing until about 6pm in time for the evening meal. During the evening there will be chance for more informal networking, sharing discussions or presentations of projects people are involved in, maybe a sing song - and a walk to a local pub is also an option. Cost: Full cost of the weekend is £50 plus £5 if you are staying over. If you can't manage this we can come to some arrangement. We’ll accept cheques but I can’t remember Angus’ initials so wait till you get here to write it out!. Directions to Greave House Farm: From the North leave M1 at Junction 36 (Tankersley roundabout) and go right towards Sheffield. At the next big roundabout go right onto the Stocksbridge Bypass (A616). Turn off at the 2nd exit signposted Oughtibridge. At traffic lights turn right and first left signed Bolsterstone and golf club. Follow this road till you see The Castle pub in Bolsterstone village and turn right on to Stone Moor Rd. We are exactly 1 mile away from here. Keep on same rd past Coal Pit Lane and WhitwellLane on your right, past a left hand fork signed Strines and Midhopestones. At the lane on your right with a public footpath sign you should see a stone plague with Greave House Farm on it. Turn down here, past sharp bend and 1st gateway then turn into 2nd gateway and drive round the back of the large barn to park up. If you are coming by train, catch a tram from train station to any stop in town centre and change on to a Middlewood tram. Get off at Middlewood park and ride and get on the little Supertram Link bus. Ask the driver to put you off at the first stop on Cedar Rd. The bus journey is about 20 mins. If you ring Barbara when you get on the bus she will pick you up at the bust stop. It would help to let her know in advance.
